A dense lattice of diagonal stones defines the space with its grey and rosy texture. On the right, a thick line of yellow paint bursts into the composition with absolute chromatic force. Minute urban remnants, like a cigarette butt and discarded chewing gum, rest placidly between the joints.

The pictorial illusion merges the rough nature of the cobblestone with the industrial flatness of the street marking. The oil on canvas captures the way color clings to the stone's porosity, fading beneath the wear of footsteps. The execution is rich with hypnotic details.

The painting radiates a silent urban vitality. The artist ennobles an ordinary fragment of street, elevating it to a contemporary landscape. It is a realistic vision, capable of arresting the perfect instant.

The artist's voice

"A yellow line on the asphalt is a silent compass. The street preserves the trace of every step in an archive of stone."
